TBWA\Group Singapore has bolstered its ranks with a series of brand lead appointments to support its growth. It named Benoit Freyburger (pictured right) group brand director for the global Standard Chartered business and Shannon Elizabeth Wee (pictured left) brand director on the Singapore Standard Chartered business.
Freyburger was most recently with TBWA\RAAD in United Arab Emirates and has spent the past 16 years working across B2B, B2C and digital campaigns with brands including Unilever, Infiniti, Microsoft, Vogue and Holcim across the Middle East, Europe and Asia markets.
Meanwhile, Wee, who was most recently business manager at TSLA, brings a wealth of experience in senior roles across brand building, digital and design strategy. Among the list of brands she has worked with include DBS Bank, EDB, STB, Glico Asia Pacific, Pernod Ricard, Cathay and Keppel.
It also strengthened its regional business portfolio with the appointments of Corinne Yong (pictured right), Lins Khoo (pictured centre) and Jeanette Tan (pictured left) as brand directors. According to the press statement, TBWA\’s regional business portfolio has doubled in the past 12 months and includes brands such as Manulife (Singapore and regional), Geneco, Hilton, Abbott Diagnostics, Blackmores and PlayStation.
Yong brings over 20 years brand management experience locally and the region, working in agencies and marketing companies and building her integrated and social portfolio. She has worked across the automobile, FMCG and mobile industry and with brands that include Johnson Controls, Bridgestone, Twentieth Century Fox and Samsung Mobile.
Tan has worked in brand management across the development of B2B and B2C above-the -line, digital, and social media campaigns both locally and in the APAC region. Brands in her portfolio include Samsung, Intel, Nikon, Mattel, and MGM resorts.
In the meantime, Khoo brings with her a wealth of B2B and B2C brand management experience namely in the telco sector, having recently worked on both the Starhub and Singtel brands in previous agencies. Khoo also contributes to the regional new business development portfolio.
