Alvin Neo takes on CMO role at NTUC Enterprise and FairPrice

Veteran marketer and group CMO of one of the leading Asian healthcare providers Parkway Pantai, Alvin Neo (pictured), has taken on the newly created role of chief customer and marketing officer at NTUC Enterprise and FairPrice.

Neo was in his last role with Parkway Pantai for over six years. He had, during his tenure, held responsibilities for areas such as marketing, sales, digital, insights and analytics, market development, front office, customer experience, CRM and call center functions.

Prior to his time with Parkway Pantai, Neo spent over six years with J&J, working in both global and regional roles based out of Shanghai and Singapore. He led marketing at J&J Consumer’s Global Emerging Markets Innovation Centre (EMIC), and was subsequently responsible for the Diabetes Care franchise across 12 markets in Asia Pacific for J&J Medical Devices division. He also spent a significant portion of his career with global MNCs such as P&G, Gillette and Boston Consulting Group; as well as a stint with UK-headquartered technology startup Netdecisions.

Marketing has reached out to NTUC Enterprise and FairPrice for a comment.

Most recently,  NTUC FairPrice also appointed Kelvin Tan as its head of marketing. He was previously the international director, marketing & communication at A&W for four years.  The role was last held by Loh Lik Shien who has since moved on to insurance company Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) as the group head of marketing, events and communications. She joined last year, after a one-year stint with NTUC Fairprice.

According to his LinkedIn, at A&W, Tan was responsible for all business strategic planning of newly acquired brands from market insights and business incubation to go-to-market launch. Besides spearheading public relation activities for the brand across the region, he also organised and led franchisees on business strategy, promotions and products. Tan will report to Neo.
