Orang Tua Group's Crystalin extends backing for Indonesian basketball via IBL

Crystalin has confirmed the extension of its partnership with the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) through 2026, underscoring a five-year collaboration that began in 2022 to support the growth of Indonesian basketball.

The partnership reflects Crystalin’s ongoing involvement in the national basketball ecosystem, positioning the sport as closely aligned with healthy, active lifestyles among Indonesia’s urban communities and younger generations.

As the league’s official mineral water partner, Crystalin views proper hydration as fundamental to supporting physical activity and optimal performance. This belief underpins the brand’s broader engagement in sports, including its efforts to support athletes and active individuals at various levels through access to quality hydration.

“For Crystalin, the collaboration with the IBL is not merely a sponsorship, but a form of sustained support for active lifestyles and the development of Indonesian basketball. We want to continue to be present alongside athletes, communities, and younger generations who make sport part of their everyday lives,” said Wijoyo Setionegoro, marketing director of Crystalin.

IBL president director Junas Miradiarsyah also welcomed the continuation of the collaboration, highlighting its role in strengthening the league and the wider basketball ecosystem. “We appreciate Crystalin’s long-term commitment, which has been part of the IBL’s journey since 2022. This consistent support plays an important role in strengthening the professional league while building a sustainable national basketball ecosystem for younger generations,” he said.

Looking ahead, both parties expect the long-term partnership to continue delivering added value to the growth of the IBL while expanding the positive impact of basketball across Indonesia. With a sustained collaborative approach, Crystalin has committed to remaining part of Indonesian basketball’s journey in building a sporting ecosystem that is healthy and inclusive.

Crystalin is a bottled water brand under Orang Tua (OT) Group, one of Indonesia’s largest FMCG players with a broad portfolio of food and beverage products. In 2025, Crystalin took part in Garuda Indonesia’s cross-industry “Sky explorer” collaboration alongside Mitsubishi Motors, fellow OT Group brand Tango, and local creative IP Tahilalats, highlighting the group’s push into experience-led and storytelling-driven marketing.
