Gushcloud bolsters Korean ops partnering with PR firm Hahm Shout

Gushcloud International has partnered with a Korea-based PR and marketing company Hahm Shout. This in a bid to drive influence marketing strategies for brands and key clients across Asia through digital content and social media platforms.Through this partnership, Gushcloud International will share its resources within the fields of influencer and content marketing in Asia. Meanwhile, Hahm Shout will provide its deep insights with regards to integrated marketing ​and PR services in the technology and consumer space.  The partnership with Hahm Shout marks a new phase for Gushcloud International expanding its influence throughout Asia, eyeing entry into China and Australia by the end of 2018.Prior to the partnership, Hahm Shout had launched an automated influencer matching platform called itFluencer, which hosted over 7,000 influencers and conducted approximately 170 campaigns in a span of three months. Gushcloud international aims to develop and execute influencer marketing strategies alongside Hahm Shout with the itFluencer platform.“With Gushcloud’s network of global influencers and content creators, and Hahm Shout’s influencers matching platform, synergy is maximised. We will work together to provide global marketing services optimised for the digital age,” Jessica Kim and Siwon Hahm, co-CEOs of Hahm Shout said.Co-founder and co-CEO of Gushcloud International, Althea Lim said that the influencer agency is committed to working with partners across South Korea and Southeast Asia to build a global marketing ecosystem which creates more cross collaborations between influencers and content creators.“With Hahm Shout as a key partner, we can support more South Korean brands in their journey to penetrate the Southeast Asian market through influencer marketing. We are excited to execute the upcoming projects that we will be embarking on together in the near future,” she added.This is not the first time Gushcloud International has worked closely with South Korea-based companies to bolster its expansion plans. Recently, Gushcloud International partnered with Lotte Group’s marketing unit, Daehong Communications to penetrate the South Korean markets via influencer marketing. In addition, the two parties will work towards creating awareness for Lotte Group’s key consumer brands into parts of Asia.Last year, it secured a US$3 million funding led by YG Investment, the investment arm under South Korean music label and entertainment agency YG Group.Gushcloud International currently has offices in nine countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and many more. Earlier this year, it struck a joint venture with YAN Digital, the digital arm of YAN Media Group, a leading youth entertainment multi-media company based in Vietnam. Called GY Entertainment, the JV aims to create a new influencer management and marketing company in Vietnam.
