VaynerMedia APAC hires Marc Langenfeld as head of media

VaynerMedia has appointed Marc Langenfeld as head of media for Asia Pacific. Langenfeld will serve as a strategic partner to clients, and help further build the agency’s integrated services. 

Langenfeld begins his role with immediate effect reporting to VaynerMedia APAC managing director, Tim Lindley. Langenfeld has over 12-years experience in the APAC region, and most recently, he was the APEX regional lead at Publicis Media APAC and has worked with Dentsu and Carat in various regional capacities.

His strategic thinking is second to none, and he partners that with deep technical expertise and an empathetic leadership quality that just makes you want to follow him and learn from him. Langenfeld joins a rapidly expanding team of 250 that has helped VaynerMedia become a key industry player within three-years of its launch in the region. Earlier in April, VaynerMedia APAC also strengthened its creative capabilities with several new hires reporting to VaynerMedia APAC managing partner and head of creative VJ Anand.

As we continue to grow in more markets, it is important to find creative leaders who are social natives, creatives who know the platforms of today and are willing to allow ideas to come from anywhere in order to create compelling content,” said Anand. Meanwhile, VaynerMedia Singapore was also named MARKETING-INTERACTIVE's Gold winners for the Independent Agency of the Year 2021.
