
University of Nottingham Malaysia picks VoxEureka as PR partner amidst rebranding

The University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) has partnered with VoxEureka and sister digital agency Vertixal to carry out integrated marketing duties for a period of one year.
The agencies have been entrusted with the responsibility of amplifying and strengthening UNM's public relations and social media strategy. They are also responsible for elevating UNM as a leading university in driving the growth of higher education learning in Malaysia.

This comes as the university is propelling its "Your place in the world" rebranding initiative. The rebranding, which embodies a sense of belonging and achievement, aims to empower students to make their mark globally.
"Our 'Your place in the World' campaign is a vision to showcase UNM as a partner for academic and personal achievement,” said Jagdish Singh Malhi, director of student recruitment and marketing at UNM.
“Both VoxEureka and Vertixal displayed a sound understanding of our ambitions and demonstrated fresh, innovative approaches that we believe will augment our storytelling and connect with our stakeholders more emphatically."
"Your place in the world" was a campaign launched in June 2023 across various platforms and remains the cornerstone of UNM's outreach in 2024.
This will be complemented by a comprehensive PR and digital transformation strategy, aligning with the latest trends, expectations and aspirations of prospective students.
Dara Shaipudin, senior director and associate partner at VoxEureka said, "As stewards of Malaysia’s future, we are excited to elevate UNM's presence both locally and globally through strategic and resonant reputational storytelling,."
Dashwini Ravi, general manager and partner at Vertixal, added, "Every Gen-Z and Gen-A is a digital native bombarded daily with a plethora of content. We recognise the need to authentically connect with students to showcase how UNM can be a genuine partner in discovering their significance in life and career paths."
"Our goal is to create content that shapes and influences the life experiences of students that resonates deeply with them, making UNM's proposition truly compelling," added Ravi.
This news comes after the PR agency was appointed as the strategic digital PR partner in Malaysia for global gravity-fuelled adventure activity, Skyline Luge earlier in January this year.
Under the appointment, VoxEureka will be overseeing the launch of the Skyline Luge Kuala Lumpur (Skyline Luge KL) attraction and produce marketing communication activities for 2024.
Skyline Luge KL is the second Luge attraction in Southeast Asia after Skyline Luge Sentosa in Singapore. It also marks the eighth site for the attraction globally.
