PUMA has appointed VoxEureka to manage PR duties in Malaysia for a year. The agency will manage public and media relations, influencer engagements, and drive key strategies to help the brand stay true to its proposition of "Forever Faster". PUMA Southeast Asia's head of marketing, Eleanor Wang, said the agency’s enthusiasm and understanding of the brand’s mantra of "Forever Faster" were the key elements that set it apart. “VoxEureka demonstrated thorough knowledge on PUMA’s mission to empower the consumers. We look forward to developing greater synergy in this partnership over the next year,” she said. A+M has reached out to VoxEureka for additional information.
Meanwhile, VoxEureka's senior director, Crystalbelle Lau, said the appointment was especially exciting as PUMA is" one of the most innovative sports and lifestyle brands in the world". She added that the Forever Faster mantra has the potential of a bottomless well of stories, and that the team is excited to drive that message alongside PUMA’s strategic priorities.
“We look forward to building and sustaining PUMA’s image as number one. PUMA is one of the most resilient brands in the world with unlimited potential – as seen with its growth in Asia in the past year. We hope to build on that and further elevate PUMA’s profile as a brand that everyone wants to be a part of, from consumers to ambassadors to employees,” she added. Among VoxEureka’s existing clientele include Digi, BMW, TikTok, Unilever, Sunway Group, Pfizer, and more.
In March this year, PUMA rolled out an interactive IG filter where shaking your head will enable you to create your own EDM track. The initiative was in line with is regional social media campaign titled "Foot tapping" which runs across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Done together with UltraSuperNew Singapore, the campaign aims to raise awareness of its restyled PUMA Mirage Tech sneaker, and was fronted by a 60-second film with Singaporean actor and musician Tosh Rock. Music producers Inquisitive (Singapore), Yusef Kifah (Malaysia) and DJ Kild (Indonesia) created the base beats.
