Shake Shack taps HK sauce brand Flagrant for exclusive wings drop

Shake Shack has teamed up with Hong Kong-based sauce brand Flagrant to launch a limited-edition yuzu hot wings offering, bringing a local twist to its classic menu.

Available exclusively in Hong Kong and Macau, the yuzu hot wings are crafted with Flagrant's signature Yuzu Koji Hot Sauce (柚子米麴辣椒醬), a plant‑based, unpasteurised condiment inspired by Japanese yuzu kosho. It blends aromatic yuzu zest, fermented chilies, Japanese rice vinegar, and sugar for a bright, refreshing kick.

Tossed in the sauce, Shake Shack's crispy chicken wings are made with antibiotic- and hormone-free poultry and offer a balance of citrus freshness and mild heat.

To further engage Hong Kong citizens interested in the hot sauce, Shake Shack has released a video across its social media channels that offers a behind‑the‑scenes look at the collaborative product, from the kitchen to its partnership with Flagrant. The video captures how the Flagrant Yuzu Hot Wings come to life, where flavour truly sparks.

Customers can also enhance their purchase by adding a mini Flagrant keychain for $15 when they order the yuzu hot wings, offering a fun and memorable way to take home a piece of the collaboration.

As part of Shake Shack's "Stand for something good" commitment to ethical sourcing, animal welfare, community investment, and sustainable operations, 5% of net sales proceeds from every order of Flagrant yuzu hot wings sold during the first seven days of launch will be donated to More Good Foundation, a social enterprise dedicated to providing nutritious meals to vulnerable communities across Hong Kong.

Don’t miss: Regent HK and Shake Shack join hands to redefine comfort food indulgence

Shake Shack has been collaborating with various brands across APAC to diversify its food offerings. In July, Shake Shack Korea teamed up with Korean chef Son Jong to launch a heritage collection in South Korea. The collaboration embodied the brand's fine casual roots, blending Shake Shack's New York heritage with a modern reinterpretation of traditional Korean ingredients.

Back in November last year, Shake Shack partnered with Regent Hong Kong to redefine what modern luxury and indulgence look and taste like with a world-exclusive collaboration. Guests could explore a unique blend of pop culture and cuisine that combined casual roadside comfort food with five-star elegance.

Last year, Shake Shack also joined forces with HUMAN MADE, a Japanese streetwear brand founded by NIGO, to launch an exclusive collaboration menu and merchandise collection, blending fashion and food to create a one-of-a-kind experience for or both brands' fans.
