PHD Taiwan has appointed Geri Hsu as its general manager. In her new role, Hsu will lead PHD Taiwan to further cultivate the agency’s talent. She will report to Omnicom Media Group Taiwan CEO, Kelly Huang.
Huang commented on the hire saying, “PHD is a very young brand in Taiwan, in comparison to other networks. However, its growth and expansion in recent years has defined the agency and differentiated it from the rest. The challenger brand truly epitomises the agile thinking required from an agency partner to tackle ongoing disruption in the media landscape for its clients.”
Hsu brings over 16 years of experience in both Taiwan and China, where she managed international clients across several different categories.
She stated, “PHD is a very distinctive brand in the market, having earned a strong reputation for its strategy led product and future-facing approach for its clients. The agency is part of an incredibly strong global network, with extensive Group resources, and represents a new-age culture of highly diverse talent. I am excited to join the team and look forward to collaborating with them on continuing PHD’s success story in Taiwan.”
