Mother joins hands with The Secret Little Agency to open Mother Shanghai

Independent agency Mother has officially kicked off a partnership with The Secret Little Agency (TSLA) to open Mother Shanghai.

This new agency is a joint venture that brings together the shared creative beliefs of Mother and TSLA to China and Asia. Targeting both local and international brands in China, the agency said it would invest in local talents.

“We believe the time is now right for Mother to take its first step into China. We’ve met a generation of smart, creatively minded people who work and want to work in the way we do,” said Michael Wall, Global CEO of Mother.

The addition of China strengthens Mother’s family network, while both agencies’ clients will have access to a new global network of talent across major creative hubs to maximise opportunities. These include Los Angeles, New York, London, Singapore and Shanghai.

Mother Shanghai will later be announcing the details related to leadership personnel and clients.

“In Mother, we’ve found a partner who like us, values the independence and agility to unleash our full creative potential for some of China and Asia’s most ambitious clients,” concluded Nicholas Ye, founder of The Secret Little Agency.
