Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) is accelerating its digital transformation with upgrades across its airlines and loyalty platforms to improve efficiency, convenience, and personalisation.
Since early 2025, MAG has introduced tools spanning booking to boarding, including proprietary systems developed through its Digital Services Platform (DSP).
Key initiatives include TravelReady, which allows passengers to upload and verify passports and visas online before arriving at the airport; Express Booking with one-click flight purchases for returning customers; and Apple Pay integration for secure payments via web and mobile.

Real-time app notifications now provide boarding gate, flight status, and baggage information, while the Mavis chatbot offers instant support on Enrich privileges, bookings, in-flight services, and escalates cases to live agents when required.
Enrich members can also redeem flights and check in online for oneworld alliance flights, covering more than 900 destinations globally. The DSP supports greater scalability and responsiveness, including a proprietary online check-in product and the recent DSP booking cutover, part of MAG’s transition to its own internet booking engine.
“Digital transformation is central to MAG’s strategy to deliver a modern, seamless travel experience. We are investing in technologies that simplify every touchpoint, from booking to post-travel, while ensuring operational efficiency," said Clarence Lee, group chief digital and IT officer.
MAG has also expanded its digital initiatives through a landmark collaboration with Adobe, Google, Skyscanner, and Visa, making it the first airline group globally to unite all four partners in a single partnership. The collaboration is part of MAG’s broader ambition to be recognised among the world’s leading aviation groups.
Through the partnership, Adobe will power personalisation across customer segments, while Google will apply AI tools, Gemini and Veo3, to enhance travel discovery. Skyscanner will expand Malaysia Airlines’ presence within the global travel search ecosystem, and Visa will streamline checkout and payment processes with secure, fast, and reliable solutions.
The partnership integrates expertise in personalisation, metasearch, digital engagement, and payments, aiming to transform how travellers discover, engage with, and book their journeys across Malaysia Airlines’ website and mobile platforms.
