Singapore-based design consultancy firm Consulus has extended its presence into the Bangkok market in partnership with Thai consulting firm Jarken.
The new entity known as Consulus Jarken will adopt the "Consulus Method of Business Design" methodology and work in a model similar to the other Consulus offices in Brunei, Myanmar, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, India and Vietnam, Lawrence Chong, CEO of Consulus told Marketing.
Chong said,"Given the complex nature of our work, our international and experienced pool of consultants from the regional offices will support the Thai office. This approach is the same in any project that Consulus undertake throughout the world."
Kuldej Sinthawanarong, managing director of Jarken will head up the Bangkok team of four. He oversees the development of the agency’s Thai business.
While the official launch of the office is set to take place in November, the agency has already begun conducting its first series of training for its consultants in the new office. The agency does not have any new clients from the Thai market at this point.
Chong added, "Our firm is focused on transforming companies in Thailand to help them achieve higher growth or their internationalisation efforts through business design.”
