Across Singapore, the national mandate is clear: build a healthier and more resilient populace. From the Health Promotion Board’s “Healthier Choice Symbol” to the nationwide roll-out of Nutri-Grade labelling, the Singapore government has set a progressive benchmark for active living and conscious nutrition. Singaporeans are increasingly health-minded and are actively seeking better lifestyle choices to power their daily lives.
When CP-Meiji set out to launch CP-Meiji High Protein Milk in Q1 2026, our vision went beyond simply introducing a new beverage. We wanted to bring a product to market that actively complements Singapore’s national health push – nurturing the local health mindset while empowering Singaporeans with real nutritional education.

At MARKETING-INTERACTIVE’s Marketing Excellence Awards Singapore 2026, CP-Meiji was awarded silver in Viral Marketing for a campaign that achieved what legacy FMCG strategies rarely deliver: it completely sold out its entire product stock across major Singapore retailers within its very first week.
Supported by agency partner Agape Communications, CP-Meiji proved that when a brand aligns its innovation with national health priorities and delivers real consumer utility, modern Singaporeans don’t just notice – they clear the shelves.
Here is the strategic playbook behind how CP-Meiji bridged the gap between national health consciousness and active retail conversion.
1. Bridging the “education-action gap”
To complement Singapore’s Healthier Choice agenda, CP-Meiji High Protein Milk was purposefully engineered for the local lifestyle. Delivering 32g of protein, USA Whey, BCAAs, and Type II Collagen, it secured a Nutri-Grade B certification for being low in fat with no added sugar. Crucially, it was formulated to be low in lactose, removing a primary biological barrier that prevents many Singaporeans from enjoying dairy-based nutrition.
However, bringing a superior product to market was only half the equation. To truly build long-term health literacy, CP-Meiji spearheaded an educational movement in partnership with accredited dietitian Jaclyn Reutens.
2. The WhatsApp loyalty engine: Making healthy habits frictionless
Fostering a sustainable health movement requires eliminating every barrier between intention and action. Recognising that requiring shoppers to download dedicated brand apps or navigate complex websites creates friction, CP-Meiji pioneered a native WhatsApp chatbot CRM. Shoppers simply snapped a photo of their supermarket receipt and submitted it through the messaging app they use every day.
To encourage trial and adoption of this healthier alternative, CP-Meiji designed a strategic dual-incentive points structure:
- Two-times accelerated reward points: Purchases of the new high protein milk earned double points compared to standard milk, rewarding consumers for upgrading their daily nutrition.
- Gamified community wellness: Points could be redeemed instantly for active lifestyle premiums (branded cooling towels, thermal flasks, Adidas duffel bags) or used to compete on a weekly leaderboard for Garmin’s Forerunner 570 sports watches.
3. Precision omnichannel: Surrounding the modern Singaporean
To ensure our health message resonated nationwide, CP-Meiji deployed a synchronised omnichannel strategy that met Singaporeans at every step of their day:
- Digital and influencer scale: Our targeted social campaign across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok achieved extensive reach across Singapore. A curated network of fitness and lifestyle advocates amplified nutritional literacy organically, driving exceptionally high engagement across diverse digital communities.
- Transit takeovers: We integrated our message directly into high-footfall commuter routes – dominating Serangoon MRT platform screen doors, Tanjong Pagar static displays, and strategic bus shelter ads positioned right outside major supermarket hubs.
- Point-of-sale conversion: Final-mile impulse was captured directly at the retail shelf. We deployed disruptive chiller wobblers pairing the “32g protein” callout directly with pricing, custom shelf stockers, and live sampling booths to drive immediate trial and conversion.

The commercial impact: one million bottles sold
When brand innovation aligns with national health priorities, commercial success naturally follows. Over the launch window, CP-Meiji moved one million bottles across Singapore retail channels.
Winning silver in Viral Marketing at Marketing Excellence Awards Singapore 2026 solidified CP-Meiji’s position as a forward-thinking market leader. By fuelling Singapore’s health-conscious movement with functional innovation and frictionless digital engagement, CP-Meiji has set a new gold standard for how FMCG brands can meaningfully contribute to a healthier nation.
