Jobstreet Philippines makes SME hiring easier with SMEasy campaign
share on
Jobstreet by SEEK is aiming to simplify the recruitment process with SMEasy, a campaign designed to make hiring faster, more intuitive, and accessible - particularly for SME owners who may not have dedicated HR teams.
For many SMEs, hiring can be one of the toughest tasks on the to-do list. Owners often juggle multiple roles at once, leaving little time to navigate complex recruitment platforms or sift through piles of applications.
The initiative highlights the platform’s free job posting feature, allowing business owners to reach Jobstreet by SEEK’s pool of nearly 14 million candidates across the Philippines. Through the feature, employers can easily create verified accounts, upload job listings via the “Lite” option, and publish them instantly to active jobseekers - at no cost.

“Part of our mission in providing jobs to every Filipino is by making job posting more accessible to hirers, particularly SMEs who make up the majority of our employment market,” said Dannah Majarocon, managing director of Jobstreet by SEEK Philippines. “With SMEasy, we aim to empower and support SMEs across the country with valuable insights and tools to help build their teams and businesses from the ground up.”
Beyond accessibility, the campaign also promotes safe and legitimate recruitment practices, urging employers to use trusted platforms to avoid fraudulent applicants and ensure a more secure hiring process.
To help small business owners craft effective listings, Jobstreet by SEEK also offers recruitment tips - from keeping job posts concise and mobile-friendly, to including salary ranges and company benefits to attract stronger applicants.
By combining free access with practical guidance, the platform seeks to democratise recruitment for SMEs and enable more inclusive participation in the country’s job market.
Jobstreet by SEEK Philippines has also been advocating for better employee engagement and mental health support in the workplace. Previously, the platform amplified the concept of “quiet cracking” - a state where employees remain in their jobs but become mentally detached due to lack of growth, appreciation, or balance.
To counter this, Jobstreet by SEEK urged employers to foster open communication, offer wellness benefits, and create clear career development opportunities to keep teams motivated and connected. Jobstreet’s latest Hiring, Compensation, and Benefits report reveals that employees who genuinely enjoy their workplace are 49% less likely to leave their jobs.
Jobstreet is operated by SEEK, an Australian-listed group with a broad portfolio spanning employment, education, and volunteer services. Operating across six Asian markets, including Indonesia and the Philippines, the company attracts over 500 million visits annually through its Jobstreet and JobsDB brands.
