Mental health is no longer a fringe concern in the workplace - it is increasingly recognised as essential. In the Philippines, where wellness and work-life balance are emerging as key deal-breakers for employees, Jobstreet by SEEK has launched its latest initiative to shine a light on the subject.
The “We see you” campaign presents candid and inspiring stories from Filipino workers navigating personal challenges behind their job titles. The series aims to spark courage and hope, while encouraging companies to rethink traditional benefits and invest in more holistic employee support.
Among the first stories are those of Grace Schuke and Manjelique Garcia. Schuke, a former school principal, shared her journey with generalised anxiety disorder, emphasising the importance of seeking help and listening, and highlighting that everyone in the workplace has their own story and silent battles.

Garcia, a cancer survivor diagnosed with lymphoma and ADHD, shared her path of resilience. She described finding purpose and moving forward despite immense personal challenges, demonstrating the power of perseverance in the face of adversity.
Building on the first two episodes, Jobstreet by SEEK will continue to release stories that redefine the role of employment platforms in fostering a supportive work environment. The initiative also encourages companies to expand their offerings beyond standard benefits, including mental health counselling, employee assistance programmes, mental health days, and app subscriptions to support well-being.
“We at Jobstreet by SEEK believe that mental health is no longer optional, it’s critical to the future of work. We see the rising cases of mental health conditions that Filipino workers experience. Launching the ‘We see you’ campaign is more than raising awareness; it is our bold yet gentle reminder that no worker should ever feel alone, unheard, or invisible. We see them,” said Joey Yusingco, head of marketing of Jobstreet by SEEK in the Philippines.
Episodes of the campaign are available online via Jobstreet’s Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube channels, offering a window into the lived experiences of workers and inspiring a broader conversation on workplace wellness.
