Jobstreet by SEEK has formed new alliances with the department of education (DepEd) and the private sector advisory council (PSAC) jobs cluster, aiming to accelerate career readiness programmes and digitise access to employment opportunities nationwide.
The partnership with DepEd will put greater emphasis on Jobstreet’s “Career readiness caravan”, an on-the-ground initiative delivering workshops, market insights, and practical tips to senior high school students and alternative learning system (ALS) learners. The aim is to help young Filipinos build the confidence, skills, and perspective needed to navigate their careers.
“We, at Jobstreet by SEEK, are very optimistic about these partnerships, as this reflects our shared vision of opening more doors and supporting Filipino job seekers from all walks of life. We’re excited to work together with these organisations and sectors, organising more career conventions, expanding career readiness, and making job opportunities more accessible for Filipino job seekers,” said Dannah Majarocon, Jobstreet by SEEK Philippines managing director.

Beyond job search skills, the collaboration will also support other youth formation initiatives designed to strengthen values, attitudes, and life skills.
The tie-up with the PSAC jobs cluster will focus on scaling Jobstreet’s digital platform for career conventions, simplifying how opportunities are discovered and applied for. This includes job fair marketing to reach a wider audience of potential candidates while helping employers connect with relevant talent faster.
Jobstreet is also in talks with the technical education and skills development authority (TESDA) to co-develop training modules, share labour market intelligence, and offer access to seekPASS - a mobile app enabling job seekers to verify and manage credentials. Should the collaboration move forward, Jobstreet will take part in major skills competitions organised by TESDA in 2025, further cementing its visibility within technical and vocational sectors.
These moves follow earlier partnerships with the department of labour and employment and the Philippine retailers association, signalling a consistent strategy of embedding Jobstreet into both industry-specific and government-led employment initiatives.
Earlier this year, Jobstreet rolled out a video series showcasing real-life career success stories in the Philippines. Aimed at inspiring jobseekers, the campaign spotlights professionals who have built meaningful careers through the platform.
