Hankook Tire Indonesia appoints PR partner as it pushes for stronger brand presence

Hankook Tire Indonesia has named Cheil Indonesia as its public relations partner, following a competitive pitch, as it seeks to strengthen its brand presence and communications strategy in Indonesia.

The appointment, effective throughout 2026, forms part of Hankook Tire Indonesia's efforts to reinforce its positioning as a technology-driven, performance-focused tyre manufacturer. The partnership will see Cheil Indonesia support the brand's communication strategy, with an emphasis on increasing brand visibility, strengthening credibility and building long-term market relevance.

Under the mandate, the agency will be responsible for strategic PR planning, media relations and communications narrative development. The collaboration will also focus on delivering more consistent storytelling across media channels while aligning Hankook Tire's global brand direction with local market dynamics.

Executive visibility and sustained engagement with media stakeholders have been identified as key priorities for the partnership.
