Cheil Indonesia has appointed Tiger Chang Hyun Kim (pictured) as brand experience account director, entrusting him with the leadership of the company's brand experience team. In this role, Kim will spearhead major brand activation campaigns, customer engagement programmes, and retail marketing efforts, aligning creative delivery with business outcomes across the agency's portfolio.
Reporting directly to Jackie Jeong, head of director at Cheil Indonesia, and on select projects to CEO Joo Hwan Kim, Tiger is expected to play a key role in driving the agency's strategic growth through both existing and new business.
Previously part of LG's marketing division, Kim was responsible for brand marketing strategy and execution for a single brand. At Cheil Indonesia, his scope expands significantly. He will now oversee key accounts such as Samsung, while also leading business development initiatives aimed at growing the brand experience offering across the wider Indonesian market—a market he describes as one of the most dynamic and attractive globally.

Kim brings with him an extensive background in event management and cross-market campaigns, having worked across Korea, China, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Brazil, Kenya, and now Indonesia. His deep international exposure and strategic vision are expected to strengthen Cheil's creative edge, particularly for Korean brands seeking deeper market integration in the region.
"I am honoured to join Cheil Indonesia at such an exciting time, where innovation meets opportunity. Having worked across five continents and managed diverse projects, I've learned that every market has its unique challenges and potential," Kim told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.
"My goal at Cheil Indonesia is to integrate global insights with local nuances to craft impactful brand experiences that exceed client expectations. I am passionate about fostering collaboration, pushing creative boundaries, and delivering measurable results that drive growth. I look forward to empowering the team and creating work that leaves a meaningful imprint on the industry," he added.
Welcoming him to the role, CEO Joo Hwan Kim commented: "His exceptional professional expertise and extensive international market experience will undoubtedly open up exciting new business opportunities for Samsung and other potential clients."
Recently, Cheil Indonesia also appointed Jeong, a marketing strategist, as its new director to lead retail and campaign. With an 18-year career spanning global markets, Jeong brings extensive expertise in integrating retail, digital, and experiential marketing.
Jeong had spearheaded omni-channel campaigns for Samsung's Galaxy series and Bespoke appliances while also developing enterprise solutions for B2B clients in consumer electronics, automotive, entertainment, and government sectors.
