As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to have more of us opting to stay home whenever possible, Deliveroo Hong Kong is adding on-demand grocery to its delivery offerings.
In partnership with 7-Eleven and Marks & Spencer, Deliveroo's new on-demand grocery service will bring ready-to-eat meals and products to Hongkongers that would prefer to avoid crowded public spaces, such as stores. Over 1,000 products will be available from launch, from fresh produce to street food to household needs such as tissues and medicine.
"The global pandemic has accelerated the importance of delivery services, and the need for at-home delivery services beyond takeaway food," said Brian Lo, general manager of Deliveroo Hong Kong.
"We look forward to adding more grocery partners in the coming months to offer consumers a wide range of items to make shopping from home more convenient and easy."
