CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice gives overworked ACs a summer break in latest campaign

In the Philippines, summer isn’t just hot – it’s relentless. Air-conditioners (ACs) are treated as essential lifelines, prompting a familiar household plea: “Isara mo nga ‘yung pinto! Lalabas ‘yung aircon!” or, in English, “Close the door! The AC will go out!”

CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice’s latest summer film takes this everyday warning and runs with it – literally. The campaign imagines a world where ACs, overworked and overheated, reach their breaking point. In a witty twist, the machines themselves walk out, leaving homes and offices to face the heat on their own.

“Overworked, overheated, and pushed beyond their limits, ACs don’t just cool spaces anymore. They walk out,” a statement said, capturing the humour and cultural relevance of the scenario.

The ad positions CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice as the ultimate refresher – not just for people, but even for the hardest-working machines of the season. “If the ACs themselves turn to CoCo to cool down, it’s proof that the drink truly delivers on its promise,” the statement explained.

Directed by Thailand’s Factory01 award-winning filmmaker Un Wuthisak Anarnkaporn, the spot blends humour, relatable behaviour, and an unexpected protagonist to redefine what it means to “cool down”.

It’s no longer just about escaping the heat – it’s about recognising burnout in all its forms and finding simple, refreshing ways to recover.

In a market where summer is a cultural and literal challenge, CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice’s campaign delivers a playful, memorable, and highly shareable take on keeping cool – whether you’re human or an air-conditioner.
