Yahoo Good Stuff campaign: A strategic initiative to celebrate 30 years of innovation

Yahoo in Hong Kong is partnering with beloved local bakery brand 33Cubread for its Yahoo Good Stuff campaign, celebrating 30 years of innovation and connection with users. From 28 April to 2 May, Yahoo will be giving away 200 freshly baked signature 33Cubread “Super Soft Milk Mini Toast” each day to users of the Yahoo App.

This five-day flash giveaway aims to boost engagement, drive app downloads, and create social buzz—especially among Gen Z. Yahoo is collaborating with a group of influencers to generate authentic, snackable content and reach younger audiences in fun and relevant ways.

Commitment to innovation and strategic reach

“As we mark Yahoo’s 30th anniversary, we recently redesigned our Homepage to mark this milestone.” said Pete Wong, general manager of Yahoo Asia. “This is part of our long-term vision to reinvent Yahoo for the next generation of users and to focus on delivering powerful, user-first experiences across all our key properties such as Finance, Mail, Search, as well as Yahoo Super App.”

In January 2025, Yahoo rolled out its redesigned Homepage with a clean, minimalist look, smart search tools, and curated lifestyle info cards—making it easier for users to stay on top of what matters. The new Yahoo Finance homepage also got a refresh, offering personalised dashboards, deeper market insights, and news that matters to today’s investors.

On the advertising front, Yahoo refreshed its premium edge-to-edge ad family, introducing new, innovative formats that boost engagement for everyday users. Yahoo Creative integrates AI, data, and human expertise, empowering advertisers to develop more personalised and engaging campaigns that drive greater impact.

Meanwhile, the Yahoo App continues to build momentum with features designed to drive loyalty. Central to this is Yahoo Rewards—a programme where users can earn points for reading articles, engaging with content, and joining promotions. Points can be redeemed for discounts, partner perks, and exclusive experiences, keeping users coming back daily.

With 5.4 million monthly unique viewers, Yahoo is the top media platform in Hong Kong. This scale makes partnerships like the one with 33Cubread powerful in delivering impact at street level.

Campaign at a glance

From 28 April to 2 May, Yahoo and 33Cubread will distribute 200 mini toasts per day at high-footfall spots in Hong Kong, including Causeway Bay, Central, and Taikoo. The goal: drive on-the-ground engagement, build brand visibility, and spark moments of delight with both locals and tourists.
