Twitter has appointed Delilah Chan as the head of advertising sales for Singapore and Malaysia, Twitter.
Chan’s key responsibilities include working closely with the in-country sales teams, as well as clients and agencies to deliver multi-dimensional deals.
She will also be leading the sales teams to drive digital advertising revenue and integrating efforts successfully to drive new business and secure strategic partnerships in both Singapore and Malaysia.
Chan brings to Twitter over 15 years of experience in advertising sales and management. Her previous position was senior account director – BBC Advertising Singapore where she led the team and was responsible for developing local and pan-regional ad-sales strategies to maximise revenue opportunities across the BBC’s multi-platform commercial products. During this time, she has worked with brands such ANZ, Hilton, IBM, CapitaLand and Samsung.
She has also worked with ESPN STAR Sports for eight years where she led the digital media ad-sales team at ESPN STAR Sports and was focused on monetising major Sporting Events such as the World Cup, F1, BPL and the Cricket World Cup across ESPN STAR Sports’ online, broadband, social and mobile innovations.
Adidas, Caltex, Castrol, Dell, LG, Singapore Airlines and Sony are just some of the brands that she has launched various sporting partnerships with. Prior to that, she was in Yahoo responsible for display advertising for Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.
