Telkomsel has announced a strategic partnership with OpenAI during its annual Solution Day 2025, signalling a new chapter in the company’s efforts to bring advanced artificial intelligence to businesses and communities across Indonesia.
Under the agreement, Telkomsel will explore AI applications across multiple industries, from optimising customer service to driving data-powered innovations. The collaboration also includes plans to roll out ChatGPT Enterprise to employees, enhancing AI literacy and productivity, while leveraging Telkomsel’s expansive network to make AI technology more accessible to millions nationwide.
“Through Solution Day 2025, we demonstrate how digital innovation can deliver significant added value across various industry sectors. As a trusted partner in Indonesia’s digital transformation, we believe sustainable growth can be achieved through open collaboration, relevant innovation, and the precise application of technology,” said Wong Soon Nam, director of planning and transformation at Telkomsel.

Solution Day 2025, which convened over 800 business leaders, innovators, and decision-makers from more than 200 top companies, served as the platform to showcase Telkomsel’s broader vision for digital transformation. The event featured discussions on the real-world impact of digital solutions in sectors ranging from banking and finance to manufacturing, transportation, and government services.
The event also spotlighted Telkomsel’s latest digital innovations, including QRIS Soundbox for secure digital payments, SiteSense for advanced location intelligence, LinkCar for connected vehicle management, and Savia, an intelligent conversational platform designed to streamline customer interactions at scale.
Global technology partners, including Huawei, Ericsson, ZTE, Tencent, and GSMA, were also present, reinforcing Telkomsel’s commitment to cross-ecosystem collaboration. Will Wang, director of Huawei Indonesia Telkomsel account department, commented, “Solution Day is not merely a showcase of technology - it is proof of how Telkomsel has become a trusted partner for Indonesia’s industrial ecosystem, delivering scalable technology solutions that create real impact. Huawei remains fully committed to supporting Telkomsel in its mission to serve enterprise customers.”
Through its partnership with OpenAI and ongoing collaborations across industries, Telkomsel is positioning itself as a central enabler of digital resilience and business impact. Solution Day 2025 embodies the company’s “#PastiAdaSolusi” campaign, encouraging organisations to embrace innovation and collaboration to navigate the challenges of digital transformation.
Last year, the #PastiAdaSolusi campaign saw Telkomsel partnering with Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) to digitise financial services for SMEs, and with Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) to modernise mining operations and support sustainable growth. The campaign began with partnerships with Gojek and Samsung, providing tailored digital tools and device ecosystems to address critical business needs.
