Telkomsel’s video platform MAXStream TV has released Rahasia Pernikahan, its first film to integrate artificial intelligence into the production process, while keeping creative direction and final decisions in the hands of its production team.
Available since 7 October 2026, the 56-minute psychological thriller was directed by Agung Wicaksono and produced over two months. The film comprises 51 scenes, with AI supporting several stages of production, from visual exploration and character and environment development to storyboarding and scene visualisation.
The project marks MAXStream TV’s exploration of how AI can support content development and open up new approaches to digital entertainment production.

The film follows Lala, a woman who begins questioning her seemingly perfect marriage as secrets gradually emerge, challenging her perception of the person she trusts most. Combining domestic drama with psychological suspense, the story centres on the gap between appearances and reality.
According to MAXStream TV, AI was used as a supporting tool rather than a replacement for filmmakers. Concept development, scriptwriting, creative direction, editing, quality control and final approval remained under the production team's control, with human review and oversight throughout the process.
Kemas M. Fadhli, VP of digital lifestyle at Telkomsel, said the company’s approach to technology was focused not merely on adopting new innovations, but on creating greater value for customers.
"The exploration through Rahasia Pernikahan demonstrates how technology can support the creative process while opening up opportunities for new creative approaches to content production, with human creativity and judgement remaining the foundation. Guided by its commitment to serving customers wholeheartedly, MAXStream TV will continue to offer a diverse range of entertainment options that meet customers’ needs and enrich their content viewing experience through meaningful innovation," he said.
Through Rahasia Pernikahan, MAXStream TV is exploring how emerging technology can expand production possibilities while keeping storytelling and the viewer experience at the centre of its content strategy.
MAXStream TV is Telkomsel’s entertainment platform offering more than 200 TV channels, exclusive original content and video-on-demand options. Available through IndiHome bundles and Minipack add-ons, it also lets viewers pause, rewind and replay programmes, including live broadcasts from up to seven days earlier.
