Telkomsel has launched #PastiSIMPATI, a campaign positioning its SIMPATI prepaid brand around reliable connectivity, digital protection and customer progress, as it seeks to become a more trusted part of Indonesians’ everyday digital lives.
Running across television, online, digital and out-of-home (OOH) media from October 2026 to January 2027, the three-month campaign is built around three pillars: Pasti Lancar, which focuses on connectivity; Pasti Nyaman, which centres on protection; and Pasti Untukmu, which highlights progress.
The campaign builds on SIMPATI’s legacy as an early connection to the digital world for many Indonesians, while addressing consumers’ everyday expectations of mobile connectivity and digital services.

The film follows Duta, whose full name is Akhdiyat Duta Modjo, the Indonesian singer best known as the vocalist and founding member of Sheila on 7. As he moves between different settings, from the football field to a restaurant where he is a familiar and dependable presence, the film reflects SIMPATI’s role as a reliable companion in everyday life. It also features comedian Dustin Tiffani.
“SIMPATI has always been more than a prepaid card for Indonesians. For many, it was their first connection to the digital world. With Pasti SIMPATI, we are bringing that heritage forward with a simple promise: certainty,” said Emir G. Surya, vice president of brand and marketing communications at Telkomsel.
“In a time when so much feels uncertain, from what you will watch next to what you will create next, our customers can be sure of one thing: their quota won’t go to waste, their entertainment is ready, and their network is there for them. ‘Pasti’ is not just a campaign line. It is the commitment SIMPATI makes to every customer, every day.”
Through #PastiSIMPATI, Telkomsel is framing prepaid connectivity as more than access to mobile data, linking the service to consumers’ broader digital routines, from entertainment and content creation to staying connected.
The film was created by Flock – Future Creative Network (FCN), produced by Hidra and directed by Dimas Djay.
