Telkomsel taps MAP retail ecosystem for new customer loyalty perks

Telkomsel and Mitra Adiperkasa (MAP) have launched MAPrivilege, a new collaboration that brings lifestyle offers from MAP’s retail ecosystem to eligible Telkomsel customers through the MyTelkomsel app.

The programme connects Telkomsel’s digital and loyalty ecosystem with MAP’s portfolio of lifestyle brands, giving customers access to curated benefits across fashion, food and beverage, sports, department stores and technology.

Under the “A pass to upgrade everyday living” proposition, customers can browse available offers through MyTelkomsel and redeem voucher codes subject to the terms and conditions set by participating merchants.

MAPrivilege is available to eligible Telkomsel customers including Halo+ Optima subscribers, SIMPATI customers who purchase Super Seru and/or Surprise Deal packages, and IndiHome customers. Customers can also redeem Telkomsel Poin through the Rewards menu on MyTelkomsel to gain access to the programme.

“Our collaboration with MAP reflects Telkomsel’s commitment to continuing to deliver increasingly relevant and tangible value to customers. By connecting Telkomsel’s digital ecosystem with MAP’s lifestyle ecosystem, MAPrivilege enables customer loyalty to translate into meaningful everyday benefits,” said Telkomsel marketing director Lionel Chng.

For MAP, the partnership extends its retail ecosystem into a digital platform already used by Telkomsel customers.

“MAP has become part of the lifestyle journeys of millions of Indonesian customers through the diverse brands and retail experiences we offer. Through our collaboration with Telkomsel, we are making it easier for customers to access our ecosystem through a digital platform they already use in their everyday lives,” said MAP director Handaka Santosa.

The partnership brings together Telkomsel’s connectivity, customer platform and loyalty capabilities with MAP’s retail and lifestyle portfolio, with offers including discounts, special prices and direct savings.

Customers can access MAPrivilege by subscribing to eligible Telkomsel packages, meeting certain IndiHome payment requirements or redeeming Telkomsel Poin. Each promotion has its own validity period and terms, and customers need an active MAPCLUB account to use the offers.

The Indonesian loyalty programmes market is expected to reach US$1.85 billion by 2029, representing a 15.7% CAGR from 2025-2029, according to ResearchAndMarkets. The market is increasingly shifting towards digital, connected and personalised loyalty programmes, with businesses integrating rewards into eCommerce platforms, mobile wallets and apps.
