Wan Chai's Starstreet Precinct has launched an official guidebook showcasing various hangout spots and travel routes for different types of visitors.
The guidebook features three tailored walking routes, which are hoped to help visitors discover photogenic spots and featured stores in the district. They have been branded the Family Fun route, the Girls' day out route, and the Guys' day off route.
The family-focused route includes a round-up on shopping and kid-friendly snacks, while visitors looking for good food and other indulgences can go for the Girls' day out route that highlights the Spa L'Occitane and avant-garde Japanese women’s label YNC. The ‘Guy’s day off’ route is a gentleman’s guide, offering dapper styling from Italian tailor shop Sarto Lab and happy hours at Ted’s Lookout.
In addition to the featured routes, using the back cover of the guidebook, visitors can build a miniature pop-up Starstreet Precinct scene.
Managed by Swire Properties, Starstreet Precinct is comprised of Star Street, Moon Street, Sun Street, St. Francis Yard, and Wing Fung Street. The precinct offers a number of cafés, restaurants, bars, galleries, boutique fashion, and home design stores. It is named after a verse from the 13th-century Chinese text The Three-Character Classic, which reads "the three luminaries are the sun, the moon, and the stars."
