Sinclair expands to Beijing with key appointments

Sinclair has opened a new office in Beijing, aiming to cater to the growing demand for the agency's PR, digital and experimental communications offerings.Located at Chaoyang District, the new office is the third location in Greater China, following the second office opened in Shanghai in 2016.“As the China market continues to transform into a powerful global hub of creativity and innovation, we are excited to expand Sinclair to Beijing. Responding to a growing client demand for regional agency representation, the new opening in one of the world’s most exciting metropolises represents the success of our agency model, which continues to be grounded in a unified, collaborative and business-focused approach to integrated communications," said Kiri Sinclair, founder and CEO at Sinclair.In conjunction with the new Beijing location, Sinclair has also announced senior team appointments across the region, including the new Beijing office.Sinclair has appointed Gaby Li (middle) as associate director. Based in Beijing, Li has eight years of experience working with hospitality, lifestyle and consumer brands in the city, while her Beijing expertise and local insights will prove an asset to the agency as it serves newly signed and existing clients in the city.Meanwhile in Hong Kong, Carbo Yu (pictured left) has been promoted to director head of business development. She will continue to craft communications strategies for high-profile consumer brands, oversee multi-channel content strategies, media relations, budgeting and forecasting, and takes on the responsibility of driving business development in Hong Kong.The Shanghai office has promoted Sara Chen (picture right) to director, head of business development. Chen has garnered 10 years of experience at renowned international agencies, where she led integrated campaigns across the lifestyle, healthcare, property, sports and government sectors.“We are excited to further explore China’s growing pool of creative talent from our new Beijing location as we partner with local brands looking towards international markets, as well as brands looking to enter China.
