Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange platform, Cryptology Exchange is on the hunt for a PR agency to brainstorm and implement creative communications and PR campaigns. This is in a bid to drive marketing efforts in the blockchain and wider industry.
Established in August 2017 and headquartered in Singapore, Cryptology aims to create an open financial system, and provide a trustworthy, reliable and convenient service for individuals looking ahead to the crypto future.
A spokesperson for the company told Marketing that the appointment will be for a minimum of six months and interested agencies should submit their proposals by this Friday. The pitch is expected to take place next week and will conclude by the end of August 2018. According to the spokesperson, Cryptology is currently targeting the European market in the next quarter, followed by global markets in subsequent quarters.
In a brief seen by Marketing, the agency will be responsible for international media coverage, speaking opportunities and thought leadership articles in key channels including broadcast, print, web and radio. It will also be tasked with engaging and building relationships with key opinion leaders and media in the blockchain and fintech industry.
Meanwhile, the company is also open to working with creative and media agencies on a project basis. Interested agencies should ideally have experience in fintech and blockchain, as well as the European market, and propose new and interesting ideas.
The company has also appointed Herbert Sim to the role of chief marketing officer, where he will lead global marketing and PR initiatives for the company. Prior to his new role, Sim was global operations and PR director at global digital asset exchange, Huobi Global. He was also head of marketing and communications at Basis Bay and marketing manager at ETHOZ Group.
"I am excited to join Cryptology Exchange, where we endeavour to build a community-centric exchange and help encourage the growth of the blockchain industry through our exchange platform where users can trade fiat and cryptocurrencies seamlessly," Sim said.
