Serena Lim returns to Tropicana Corporation to head marcomms

Serena Lim has returned to property developer Tropicana Corporation as GM, group corporate communications and marketing communications. Lim (pictured) was previously with the company from 2005 to 2016, last helming the role of deputy GM of corporate communications, according to her LinkedIn.

She has more than 25 years of experience in the creative, communications and branding industry. Before returning to Tropicana Corporation, Lim was the chief communications officer for Mage Ecotech, a manufacturer and supplier of roof accessories and building components. She also led communications for management consulting firm MIG International Group and property developer SkyWorld Development Group. Lim also has experience on the agency side, having worked at Grey for three years as senior account manager, her LinkedIn said. Lim declined to comment on A+M's queries.

Among the list of brands under Tropicana Corporation include Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, Tropicana Indah Resort Homes, Tropicana Gardens, Tropicana Heights and Tropicana Metropark, among others. The brand was incorporated in 1979 and manages a variety of businesses that includes property and resort development, property investments, manufacturing and investment holding. When it comes to the brand's logo, the "T" mark is set within a circle to reflect the group's regional ambitions and footprint. It added that the logo mark also creates cohesiveness across the corporate and subsidiary brands.
