Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) has called a tender to appoint a consultant. The appointment is for a period of two years with the option to extend for another, according to Gebiz. In a statement to Marketing, a spokesperson from SDC said that it aims to deliver its business and marketing objectives with efficiency through the new consultant.
In a tender briefing document seen by Marketing, the appointed partner will cover duties such as develop, implement and conduct performance evaluation of SDC’s marketing agencies. It will also assist SDC in optimising its client-agency relationships and processes as well as conduct fee review and reconciliation.
In addition to the required duties, SDC may require the appointed partner to assist SDC in the development, execution and evaluation of its marketing tenders, conduct media financial audit and also assess the media planning and digital ecosystem effectiveness optimisation.
Most recently, SDC concluded its media pitch, appointing IPG Mediabrands’ UM Singapore. This saw UM handling SDC’s media duties, as well as its optimising media buys and improving cost efficiency. The pitch saw four agencies vying for the account, namely Carat Singapore, GroupM Singapore, IPG Mediabrands Singapore and ZenithOptimedia.
Last month, SDC also concluded its creative and digital pitch as it appointed BBH Asia Pacific, beating out JWT Singapore. This was followed by an initial shortlist which also saw BBDO Singapore and TBWASingapore in the running for a tender SDC launched late March, handled by R3.
