Digital consultancy Reading Room has opened a new Bangkok office, expanding its services into Thailand.
With its new Thai outfit, the agency aims to better serve its clients in the North of the region, particularly in Hong Kong and China.
The agency currently has Minor Hotel Group on its Thai roster.
Reading Room will focus on several key sectors, including hospitality, property and B2B.
Sam Booth will become Reading Room Thailand’s managing director. He will be creating and heading up the team to deliver end-to-end digital services and satisfy client demands from Thailand. Prior to this role, Booth was international commercial director at Reading Room.
Booth reports to Margaret Manning OBE, group CEO at Reading Room.
Booth said, “Many Thai businesses are looking internationally to find the type of skills they require, and we are here to change that. We will bringing our full skillset including digital consultancy, user experience, marketing technology, design and technical implementation into the Thai market.”
Manning said, “Asia Pacific is the key region for Reading Room’s international expansion. We have seen great opportunities presenting themselves in Thailand where we are seeing a thirst for world class digital knowledge, as well as fast adoption of internet and mobile among the population.”
