Q-Pets, a local pet retail chain under Jebsen Group, has partnered with Branding Records to unveil a brand overhaul to craft a narrative that resonates deeply with the hearts of pet lovers everywhere.

As a brand founded in 1996, Q-Pets is undergoing a rebranding process due to the changing landscape of pet retail. The goal is to transcend its identity as a traditional pet store and create a sanctuary filled with love and warmth for pets and their owners.

As part of its rebranding strategy, the agency will be tasked with developing brand strategy and managing brand identity.

In a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Jacopo Pesavento, CEO of Branding Records, said Q-Pets is not just a brand but also a promise of happiness and companionship for every pet parent out there. "Our aim is to encapsulate the essence of this promise in every aspect of the brand, from its visual identity to its in-store experience,” he said. 

Through market research and analysis, Q-Pets has curated every aspect of the brand experience to evoke a sense of warmth and love. This includes a refreshed visual identity and the integration of vibrant and modern store applications. These strategic decisions aim to align Q-Pets' mission and vision with the essence of the brand.

In terms of the visual identity system, Branding Records has designed a comprehensive visual identity system, including the logo, colour palettes, typography and application guidelines. While refreshing the existing logo, minor adjustments will be made to colours and lines to maintain its overall look and feel, creating a modern and cohesive brand image.

Moreover, Branding Records has created a visually appealing and consistent system for store applications. This involves designing signage, packaging, promotional materials and other visual elements that align with the brand identity, ensuring a cohesive experience across all touch-points.

Furthermore, Branding Records has enhanced and updated the sub-icon system for all categories, adopting a minimal and sleek aesthetic that aligns seamlessly with the Q-Pets brand. This ensures consistency and cohesiveness across all visual elements, reflecting the brand's commitment to a contemporary and refined look-and-feel.

In addition, Branding Records has elevated the brand's personality and engagement by creating mascots, preferably animal icons, that embody the essence of Q-Pets. These mascots will add a personal touch to the brand and resonate with the target audience by serving as a relatable and viral brand element.
