Publicis Groupe hires dedicated ECD to handle HPB account

Publicis Groupe has hired Ng Tian It as a dedicated ECD for the Health Promotion Board Singapore account.In February 2019, the Health Promotion Board of Singapore selected Publicis Groupe to support its integrated marketing communications in three areas; brand strategy consulting, creative production, and experiential marketing. In response, the Groupe designed a solution called HPB ONE, bringing talent and experts from across the entire Group together as a bespoke and dedicated team.Ng (pictured) is returning to Singapore after a decade in China where he held various creative leadership roles in global agencies such as McCann Worldgroup China, DDB Group, and Saatchi & Saatchi. Prior to that, he served as ECD at McCann Singapore.He brings more than 20 years of experience working with numerous global brands such as McDonalds, Singapore Airlines, Citibank, Singapore Tourism Board, and Mastercard.“Rarely do we get to serve a national cause when working on a brand. This role isn’t just about creating great ads, but it’s also a massive responsibility to shape the health of an entire nation. I take it as a great honour that every piece of work that we do can have an immediate and meaningful impact to our fellow citizens,” said Ng.“The recent track record proves the Power of One Model serves its purpose of breaking silos, focusing on creative solutions that will single-mindedly address the challenges clients face,” said Lou Dela Pena, CEO of Publicis Communications Singapore.“We’ve been searching for some time to find the right candidate to do that for HPB One, and we couldn’t have been luckier to have Ng join us to lead that change. An accomplished son of Singapore, Ng brings a rare pedigree of real, effective and iconic work that will raise the bar in how we navigate the myriad ways to reach and connect with consumers today,” she added. This appointment is part of the agency’s effort to bring the best talent to support the agency’s creative needs. Publicis recently strengthened its strategic bench with a number of new hires of senior strategists.
