Pavilion KL unveils new mobile app and loyalty programme

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur has launched its new multi-feature mobile app with interactive navigation, on-the-go mall updates and mobile-exclusive rewards to elevate its shopping experience to the next level by empowering shoppers with all the information they need at the palm of their hands. The app will also serve as a digital platform for the mall's new loyalty programme, Pavilion Privileges, which has three tiers: Pavilion Lifestyle, Pavilion Priority, and Pavilion Luxe.

The app has more than 700 retail and dining options spanning eight precincts, allowing for shoppers to easily navigate the mall and discover new store openings and hidden gems. Joyce Yap, CEO of retail, Pavilion REIT Malls, said the app marks an "exciting new era" of shopping for its digital-savvy shoppers.

"We are entering a new digital frontier with our new Pavilion KL Mobile App where we can directly communicate with our shoppers to inform them of the best deals, new store openings and latest announcements," she added. A+M has reached out to Pavilion KL for additional information.

In a move towards digital transformation and engage their audience on mobile, several brands have produced their own mobile apps. UEM Sunrise, for example, unveiled three brand new hUb-themed mobile apps last year as a continuation of its first mobile app hUb series launched in 2019. The apps are managed by UEM Sunrise's digital arm, Rise Digital, which was established in January 2020 as part of the company's commitment to its digital transformation agenda.

Media Prima Audio also rolled out its mobile app brand, Audio+, in August which functions as the home for all radio, digital and social content, such as radio, podcasts and videos, among others. Instead of downloading a separate app for each station, all brands will now be parked under the Audio+ app. Meanwhile, across the border in Singapore, bubble tea brand HEYTEA rolled out its mobile app HEYTEA GO last year in collaboration with financial service provider Wirecard, to provide HEYTEA's customers with a seamless payment experience.
