Pacific Place transforms into brick-built botanical garden this summer
share on
This spring-summer, Hong Kong mall Pacific Place has partnered with LEGO to debut the first-ever botanical garden, taking visitors on a whimsical journey through “Where Bricks Bloom”, an immersive installation crafted entirely from LEGO bricks. Beyond the enchanting display, exclusive LEGO gifts and captivating rewards will be extended to elevate the experience.
Running from 24 April to 18 May, the Garden Court at Pacific Place will transform into a celebration of the seasons, carpeted with intricate floral creations built from over 120,000 LEGO bricks and over 6,000 LEGO flowers from the Botanical Collection.
Crafted by Andy Hung, LEGO's certified professional throughout the Greater China region, as well as Kirk Cheng, a floral artisan celebrated for his large-scale floral artworks across Asia, this collaboration merges the beauty of nature with the structural artistry of LEGO to craft an immersive showcase of creativity, architecture, and botanicals.
Spread across five uniquely themed zones, the garden takes visitors on a journey that celebrates the many shapes and forms of blooming flowers. One highlight is the “Brick to Bloom Fleuriste”, featuring a floral stall encircled by cascading LEGO flowers. From 25 to 27 April, 1 to 5 May, 9 to 11 May, and 16 to 18 May, customers can redeem a beautifully packaged LEGO flower with HK$1,500+ spent at Pacific Place or Starstreet Precinct.
The four additional zones include “The Flourishing Arch,” where stabilised foliage intermingles with delicate LEGO flowers and budding petals; “The Rose Reverie,” a nearly four-metre-tall structure crafted from over 120,000 LEGO bricks; “The Dazzling Pavilion,” which showcases a vibrant flower wall built entirely from LEGO bricks and is ideal for photos; and “Floral Reflections,” a serene reflective installation that mirrors the garden’s beauty.
During the event period, customers can also obtain an e-coupon by visiting the “Where Bricks Bloom” Botanical Garden to redeem a free LEGO Botanicals series sticker at Simply Toys in Pacific Place, or make a purchase of LEGO boxed sets worth HK$350+ at the shop to exclusively receive the LEGO Flower Card.
To elevate the visiting experience, Pacific Place is offering enticing shopping rewards. Guests can receive up to two movie ticket exchange coupons (valued at HK$260) and a HK$2,500 shopping e-voucher by accumulating same-day electronic spending.
