OMD strengthens its leadership in China

OMD has promoted Kevin Mann to general manager of the network’s Guangzhou office, and elevated Samantha Jahnke to head of digital for the agency, effective immediately.

Previously the head of new business development for OMD China, Mann will now be part of the agency’s management team. In his new role, he will ensure the Guangzhou office continues its growth momentum by developing new business opportunities, enhancing the team’s capabilities, mentoring talent and raising operational effectiveness.

Jahnke has over 10 years of strategic planning and digital advertising experience, with major client portfolios in both the US and China.  In the new position, Jahnke will be responsible for strengthening OMD China’s digital capabilities and driving innovation across all client accounts. Prior to moving to China, Jahnke was group director at OMD Chicago, where she gained experience in cross-channel strategy, digital planning and buying.
