Ogilvy Thailand has named Tiwat Nitchote to the newly created role of chief strategy officer, joining forces with the existing management team to harness Ogilvy’s creativity to grow and transform businesses. Nitchote (pictured) will focus on strengthening and streamlining Ogilvy Thailand’s strategic offerings to drive clients’ business towards modern marketing success.

He first joined Ogilvy Thailand in 2012 as strategic planning director. Throughout his tenure, he has initiated several successful campaigns for blue chip clients across industries, such as Coca-Cola Thailand, Eucerin, Nivea, Kimberly-Clark, and many others. He has exhibited extraordinary leadership skills and was soon promoted to GM and MD of OgilvyOne, a digital services arm of the company. As part of his new role, the agency said Nitchote strategically transformed OgilvyOne into a growing and profitable unit for five consecutive years. After leaving Ogilvy in 2018, he went to the technology side and has mastered new skills including software development and system integrator as well as B2B strategies and implementations.

Nitchote said he is very thrilled to return to the agency again. "Although this is a challenging time for all of us, I believe that there will always be opportunities for those who are well-prepared," he said.

He added that Ogilvy has evolved so much and its strength is no longer limited to marketing communications works but encompasses all aspects of business transformation. "My job from now on is to ensure that data, creativity, and technology are strategically integrated into the end-to-end of our clients’ business operations," he added.

Meanwhile, chairman of Ogilvy Thailand, Nopadol Srikieatikajohn, said the agency prides itself on its resilience and adaptability amidst uncertainty and change. Srikieatikajohn added that it has successfully transformed the business and equipped itself with skills and capabilities that will help clients transform theirs, too.

"Apart from being client’s trusted marketing advisor, we are now looking forward to deepening our relationships with clients to become the architect of their future growth. I am sure that we have everything they need to succeed in the new world. Having Tiwat joining us and bringing his strategic and technological mindset will definitely strengthen our positioning as the leading platform for growth," Srikieatikajohn said.
