Aegis Media has launched a full service media and digital creative services business, Huckleberry. Huckleberry brings together the clients and staff of Aegis Media and digital creative agency Rodeo, under a new agency brand.
The business will be run by joint managing directors, with Melissa Roberts (pictured) as MD of media and Aaron Tobin as MD of creative. Huckleberry’s joint MDs will report to Aegis Media ANZ CEO, Luke Littlefield, with executive support from David Stephenson, CEO, creative services for Aegis Media.
Huckleberry comprises 60 staff in Melbourne upon launch, with media clients including Medibank Private, ME Bank, Madman Entertainment and Funtastic and digital creative services clients including The Good Guys, Patties and Maurice Blackburn.
Roberts said: “As separate agencies, our approach to building communications solutions for clients was very much in line. Together, we have a very strong offer in combining the digital and creative expertise of Rodeo with the media and strategic clout of my team.”
Tobin said: “This is a great opportunity to build on our collective service offering for clients, creating a business with the skill set to deliver complete communications solutions, right from insight to delivery to market. Both teams are consumer led with a focus on exceptional strategy and insights.”
