Harith-Mcpherson joins the agency’s management team and will work closely with chief operating officer Clarence Koh, chief creative officer Alvin Teoh, chief strategy officer Alex Goh, and executive creative director Nik Radzi.

In her capacity, she will aid in charting the direction of the agency in identifying horizontal and vertical growth opportunities to elevate the diversity and level capabilities of its service offerings to existing as well as to its potential clientele. Her role also entails sharing responsibilities with the COO in streamlining the agency’s internal processes, managing key department operations and providing guidance and leadership to agency staff members.

“I am thrilled to be joining an agency with such a strong legacy for building enduring and memorable brands. I look forward to continuing the strong growth momentum as well as being a part of the team that charts this next chapter to drive organic and new business growth for Naga DDB Tribal through new offerings and strategic collaboration," Harith-McPherson said.

Harith-Mcpherson has over 20 years of experience and was most recently MD at mSIX&Partners Kuala Lumpur, previously known as m/SIX. She was also previously GM of BBDO Malaysia and client service director at M&C Saatchi. Phaik Cheng succeeds Harith-Mcpherson as head of m/SIX.

Lee stated that the hire was an indicator of the agency’s intent and ambition to continue to strive towards pursuing positive evolution to attain its goals of becoming an agency that truly understands and meets the marketing needs of brands of all sizes local and regional alike.

“We take great pride in being an established agency that continues to build brands, reputations and legacies for almost 40 years in Malaysia. This has been possible not only due to our amazing and forward-thinking stable of clients but also because of the fantastic talent that remains within our agency and that has come through our doors throughout our existence," he added.

However, the agency is aware that to progress and grow especially in this extremely complex era, it must continuously add to its pool of talent in a way that provides substantially beneficial value to all our stakeholders.

"With her experience, drive and proven leadership qualities, Farrah brings not only vision and skill but importantly a strong voice that complements our management team perfectly. We could not be more thrilled and excited by her coming on board," Lee said.
