National Arts Council (NAC) Singapore has appointed Black Design as creative partner for selected NAC projects for a period of two years, with an option for renewal, according to GeBiz.
Black Design beats 22 contenders, including Ad Planet, Lins Advertising & Marketing, Sparkfury Creative Consultants, Vibes Communications and Up Brandbuzz to name a few.
According to GeBiz, the contract starts in 21 March 2016 and ends on 31 March 2018 and will see Black Design cover creative duties for the Cultural Medallion & Young Artist Award, Patron of the Arts Award, Literary Singapore, Fiction Singapore, a Malay music enrichment course and the National Indian Music Competition 2017.
Some optional items include comics and graphic novels of Singapore and other ad hoc projects.
NAC recently appointed Ogilvy & Mather Singapore for public relations duties early in March. It also commissioned the Singapore Art Museum to organise its upcoming Singapore Biennale 2016, which has since appointed Starcom Singapore for media duties.
