McCann Worldgroup Philippines appoints new chief strategy officer

McCann Worldgroup Philippines has appointed a new Chief Strategy Officer, Barbara Gutierrez, to head their planning and mapping division, one of the largest in the market. She will report to McCann Worldgroup Philippines’ Chairman and CEO, Raul Castro, and also joins McCann Worldgroup’s APAC Strategic Leadership Community. Gutierrez brings over 30 years of advertising and marketing experience, specialising in brand planning, communications planning, and regional client management across Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. With expertise across categories, and with both multinational and local clients, Barbara has a focus on brand-building, most notably having worked on Unilever business at a regional and global level.         No stranger to the IPG family, Gutierrez has previously worked with Mullen Lowe Thailand, where she was responsible for the development of communications strategies across the agency.“I am thrilled that Barbara has joined our McCann Worldgroup Philippines family.
