M&C Saatchi Malaysia made a slew of new hires to strengthen its expertise. Lily Bishnoi (pictured left) has been appointed as head of planning, Daryl Francis Tan (pictured centre) as account director and Lee Shyyi (pictured right) as creative group head to further strengthen the integration and creative teams respectively.

Having previously led strategic responsibilities in Publicis Groupe Malaysia, Bishnoi brings to the table over 13 years of experience in strategic planning across customer experience, digital and mainline. Under Publicis Groupe, she  handled businesses across Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi, Alpha 245 and Publicis Integrated strategy for creative since 2019, according to her LinkedIn profile. Prior to joining the Groupe, she helmed roles as strategic director and planner in Entropia Global and Law & Kenneth Saatchi & Saatchi respectively.

According to the agency, she also has experience across markets in India, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. M&C Saatchi added that Bishnoi's journey in advertising began by her co-founding her own creative boutique agency. Following her entrepreneurial stint, she took a role on the client’s side to lead a digital transformation project.

Meanwhile, Tan was with VMLY&R as its brand director for almost two years since he joined in 2019, his LinkedIn said. Prior to that, he was with Y&R from 2017 to 2019 as its senior brand manager before the agency merged with VML to form VMLY&R. He also worked at Sambal Lab from 2014 to 2016 as its senior account executive before being promoted to its account manager.

At the same time, Lee was formerly senior art director at Leo Burnett for the last five years since 2016, as seen on her Linkedin. She has also held similar graphic design roles across various agencies such as Naga DDB, Havas Wordwide, McCann Erickson and Creative Juice. A+M has reached out to M&C Saatchi for additional information.

Separately, M&C Saatchi's subsidiary M&C Saatchi Performance had its partnership with global sports network beIN Asia Pacific extended until April 2022 earlier this month. In addition to the markets currently managed by M&C Saatchi Performance, which are Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia, the scope was also expanded to Hong Kong.
