Malaysia Airlines brings signature hospitality to new heights this national day
share on
As Malaysia gears up for National Day and Malaysia Day, Malaysia Airlines is rolling out a heartfelt celebration at cruising altitude. The flag carrier is launching a "Time for Malaysia Airlines" campaign to rediscover the thoughtful touches, genuine warmth, and full-service experience that define every journey with it.
Running from 7 to 26 August 2025, the campaign celebrates the airline’s signature Malaysian Hospitality, blending comfort, care, and culinary excellence both onboard and on the ground. Business Suite and Business Class guests are welcomed with the MH signature drink, a refreshing fusion of guava, pineapple, and sour plum, followed by gourmet meals crafted through the 'Chef-on-call' service and the airline’s iconic grilled satay skewers served warm with rich peanut sauce.

Economy Class passengers enjoy value-packed benefits such as complimentary checked baggage starting from 20kg, while Business Class travellers receive up to 50kg. In addition, the airline has brought back its popular "Best of Asia" menu for a limited time, featuring the beloved 'Nasi hujan panas' ('Malaysian rainbow rice') set dish on selected flights until 31 August 2025, adding a nostalgic touch to the National Day season.
On the ground, Enrich Platinum members flying from KLIA Terminal 1 can indulge in a heritage-inspired rotating all-day dining menu at the Platinum Lounge, featuring dishes such as 'Rendang ayam daun kunyit' ('tumeric chicken stew') and Hong Kong-style steamed grouper fillet, available until 27 August 2025.
Families travelling with children can benefit from the MH Junior Explorer programme, offering special kids’ meals, activity kits, and priority check-in and boarding. Guests looking for added comfort can opt to bid for cabin upgrades via MHupgrade too.
Meanwhile, Enrich loyalty members enjoy exclusive perks including a 5% discount on fares, child discounts, flexible booking options, and seamless point earning and redemption. All of which are accessible when booking directly through Malaysia Airlines’ website or mobile app.
“Time for Malaysia Airlines” follows the brand's "Time for premium escapades" campaign in June where it offered travellers the chance to elevate their journeys with exclusive business class fares across its extensive domestic and international network.
In tandem, it's “Time for memorable journeys” campaign in May doubled down on premium perks and personalised services.
