KPJ Healthcare has appointed Aina Nadzir as its new head of group marketing, as part of the company’s ongoing transformation under the KPJ Health System agenda.
The move elevates Aina from her previous role leading commercial and marketing, reflecting KPJ’s goal to give marketing a stronger identity, enhance visibility in the marketplace, and sharpen value propositions for patients, partners, and stakeholders.
In her new role, Aina will oversee strategic marketing across KPJ Group and its 30 hospitals, covering both domestic and international markets.

Her responsibilities include brand and marketing strategy, collaborations, digital marketing, and partner marketing, with a focus on unifying the patient experience across all touchpoints.
Prior to her time at KPJ Healthcare, she was assistant vice president and general manger of customer behaviour and growth management at Boustead Holdings and senior experience architect, engage and communications, CX strategy and customer journey at Telekom Malaysia.
Speaking to her role, Aina said “I am excited to build on KPJ’s brand purpose of Care for Life while expanding our reach through digital innovation, strategic partnerships, and international visibility.
“Most importantly, I look forward to making KPJ more personal and accessible — ensuring patients experience us not only as a healthcare provider but as a trusted lifelong partner in their health and wellness journey,” she added.
The group marketing portfolio was previously overseen by chief marketing officer Sherene Azli. Aina’s former responsibilities will be realigned across marketing, group operations, and hospital teams to create stronger synergies and sharper focus, ensuring continuity and consistency across all KPJ hospitals.
Under Sherene’s leadership, KPJ Healthcare recently rolled out its “Bebas & sihat” health screening campaign, offering an affordable screening package priced at RM99. Available at 29 KPJ Specialist Hospitals nationwide (excluding KPJ Tawakkal KL Specialist Hospital), the campaign runs until 30 September 2025.
The initiative aims to help Malaysians take proactive steps in monitoring their health by making basic screenings more accessible and affordable. Through the campaign, KPJ Healthcare encourages regular health checks as part of a responsible healthcare routine.
