IndiHome sheds light on the heroes among us in heart-warming film

Indonesians are experiencing life at home like never before, having to work, study and pray from home. As the nation combats the spread of the virus, the process involves many adapting to the new normal. To show appreciation for all Indonesian families who are staying home and keeping productive, Telkom Indonesia's home connection provider brand IndiHome has launched a social campaign.

Titled “Pahlawan Dari Rumah” (Heroes From Home), the film captures real families facing real challenges at home. It recognises the heroes, such as the hard workers, the educators, the caretakers, the small business entrepreneurs, and all the other heroes who are leading from the front from Indonesian homes. The film ends with a note: “We’re fighting together, so we can rise again. From home, we’re all heroes.”

In a statement to Marketing Interactive, IndiHome emphasised that home and family has always been the centre of the brand's attention. The “Pahlawan Dari Rumah” social campaign video evolves around unique activities during the stay at home period. Captured through dramatic photos and film lenses, the video aims to communicate struggle, hope and positivity at the same time. The heart-warming creative execution was done by Publicis Groupe Indonesia.

Siti Choiriana, consumers director of Telkom Indonesia, said the company is proud to play its role to support the Indonesian government dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic situation. “We want everyone to stay safe at home. Together we can break the pandemic chain, while staying active and creative at home. We enhanced our IndiHome TV channels and internet connection services to empower Indonesians family to work from home, learn from home, and to do many other activities” she added. According to Choiriana, by being productive at home, everyone can contribute to each other’s lives.

Meanwhile, Agung Nugroho, creative director at Publicis Groupe Indonesia said, “As a brand that lives in every Indonesian home, Indihome is a witness to all the struggles during this time. In this film we embrace these stories to inspire others.”
