Content marketing agency IMMedia has appointed Michelle Castillo (pictured left) as head of editorial, while Preeti Dhakappa (pictured right) and Robert Wilson (pictured centre) join as content editors. This comes shortly after former head of editorial and account management Kritika Srinivasan left to join Salesforce in India.

Castillo brings with her a wealth of content marketing experience and will be responsible for the global editorial team at IMMedia. Meanwhile, as a result of the acquisition of new clients such as Hilton and UOB among others, and the continued growth from existing clients such as TraxRetail and Standard Chartered, the team has been boosted by the new editors Dhakappa and Wilson.

Castillo was previously a retail marketing communications consultant for Apple APAC and Greater China. She has over 19 years of experience across offline and digital platforms, and has worked as a marketing and communications professional in various firms. Castillo has dealt with clients in the travel, lifestyle, business, finance and technology sectors.

Dhakappa is a seasoned writer with a decade of experience in communicating for brands across automobile, real estate, hospitality, eCommerce and FMCG industries. She is also a published author in travel literature. While Wilson comes to IMMedia with also a decade of experience in the international real estate, finance, automotive, and luxury brand sectors. During his career, he's been at the helm of both print and digital publications across Asia.

Peter Bakker, managing director, IMMedia Content said the three new hires bring on a wealth of experience across various content formats and industries that will help the firm deliver a tangible ROI for its new and existing clients. "They will form the basis for our continued global expansion and assist with the launch and continued development of our new software platform IMMediate," he added.

Richard Jones, chief operating officer, IMMedia Content added: “As we are about to enter our next level of operations these welcome additions to the team will further boost our regional footprint and enable us to further streamline our operations globally. IMMediate will provide us with the tools to materialise this.”
