Hong Leong Finance (HLF) launches new campaign “Hong Leong Finance empowers me” for its small and medium enterprise (SME) community. This campaign’s objectives are to reinforce HLF’s brand identity, and enhance its market presence and raise awareness among the younger generation of SMEs.
The launch is at the back of HLF’s inaugral SME market survey which showed that 75% of local SMEs put sales growth as their top priority, while 36% are focused on high business costs. Starting with a series of bus advertisements on SMRT buses, the ‘fully-wrapped’ buses will be travelling from the east to the west of Singapore, and also pass by Hong Leong Finance SME Centres in the heartlands, such as Bedok SME Centre and Jurong East SME Centre.
The campaign will also feature stories of local businesses and SMEs that Hong Leong Finance has supported and helped to grow for more than 50 years.
One such story is Tai Chong Kok, a leading homegrown household name for mooncakes and traditional Cantonese pastries. With the latest vacuum packing machine with HLF’s equipment loan, the confectionery products can be kept fresh for a longer shelf life, ultimately scaling up on operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Ang Tang Chor, president of HLF, mentioned “smart funding has allowed access to new levels of success for Hong Leong Finance” and added that HLF aims to partner more SMEs.
