HK-based FAMILY FORM unveils Shanghai store as part of global expansion

Hong Kong-based fitness studio FAMILY FORM has strengthened its presence in China with a new branch in Shanghai, opening on 29 May 2025. Co-founded by entrepreneur and wellness advocate Lindsay Jang, FAMILY FORM is built on a dynamic, mat-based, full-body sculpting method that blends the best of boutique fitness and personal training.

Designed for daily practice, FAMILY FORM incorporates endurance-building, challenging sequences, and a deep mind-body connection within optimal conditions of infrared heat, humidity, and bold music.

The move comes in response to the growing demand for holistic experiences, catering to both local residents and health-conscious travellers. The new store will be located at The Middle House, Shanghai. This strategic location aligns with the global trend of hotels becoming wellness destinations.

As urban lifestyles become increasingly hectic, FAMILY FORM aims to help individuals reconnect with their bodies and minds, fostering a community centred around wellness and balance. It is poised to empower the next generation of health-conscious individuals in China.

Jang’s approach to wellness, which integrates intentional movement into daily routines, reflects her own journey balancing entrepreneurship, family life, and personal well-being. FAMILY FORM at The Middle House continues her vision of creating transformative spaces that inspire genuine connections, holistic living, and sustainable wellness.

Jang is a serial entrepreneur and wellness advocate, best known for co-founding Hong Kong’s restaurants Yardbird, RONIN, and the newly opened ALWAYS JOY. Passionate about holistic living, Jang expanded into the wellness space through FAMILY FORM, a fitness brand emphasising sustainable, accessible, and mindful movement practices.
