Havas Worldwide China taps Leeon Zhu as head of strategy

Havas Group has appointed Leeon Zhu as head of strategy for Havas Worldwide China Group, based in Shanghai. In his new role, Zhu will lead brand and marketing strategy for clients including Citroen, Hershey, Reckitt Benckiser, Bank of Communications, Balabala, Yili, OSM, and Ariston.Zhu is a proven strategist across a multitude of categories and channels. In his 15 years in communication, Zhu has developed excellent skills and rich experience in helping some highly strategy driven clients grow such as Unilever, Coca-Cola, Inbev, and Ford.Mason Lin, chairman of Havas Creative Group, Greater China, said: "Leeon's experience in advertising, digital and media agencies will offer us a unique and truly integrated perspective, which can both enable us provide rapid response to our clients' requirements, and falls perfectly in line with our vision as a Havas Village."Before joining Havas Worldwide, Zhu worked at McCann, with previous experience at Y&R, Sapient Nitro, Omnicom Media, and JWT.
